Currently, I am working as Scientific Officer (Mech.Engg.) in BARC, Mumbai since 2008.
With Lead since May, 2010

How  is the experience of working here?
Though, I have visited the center only three times at weekends but fortunate for me, I got a chance to interact with the children at day one itself and what i found was really amazing, the best part was that they (children) are much more interested to talk to their new teacher (as I was introduced to them by some volunteers ) than me. Some of them were so talkative and they were so happy at the center doing some childish mischief as though they were at their home. Also, I was fortunate enough to have that very important session by Ameetha madam at my second visit to the center which was really very very useful and gave a deep insight about the psychology of the children about learning...and finally one more thing i want to mention is about the kind of different spectrum of community services (field works) taken up by LEAD. It is not about education alone (as i was thinking initially) but much more beyond that. and the dedication of volunteers was really so encouraging and gives a very good answer to any individual who thinks that 'NOTHING CAN BE DONE ALONE TO MAKE A CHANGE'

How has LEAD made a difference in your life?
Although, I have joined LEAD very recently (few weeks ago) but after joining the LEAD, now I think that I have a great reason to leave my life which I was searching for a long time. Definitely, a lot of differences are expected to come in my life in future also.
